Certificate Information
The Security+ Certification Preparation Course provides the basic knowledge needed to plan, implement, and maintain information security in a vendor-neutral format. CompTIA Security+ is aimed at IT professionals with roles such as security architect, security engineer, security consultant/specialist, information assurance technician, security administrator, systems administrator and network administrator. This course maps to the CompTIA Security+ certification exam (SY0-501). Objective coverage is marked throughout the course.
CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career.
The Security+ exam will certify that you have the knowledge and skills required to:
