  • Identify how to get data from different sources and how to clean, transform, and load data into Power BI where it can be analyzed.
  • Get familiar with the Power Query Editor, the M language that underlies transformations, and various topics relating to data quality.

  • You will learn how to model the data efficiently in Power BI Desktop, design and develop a comprehensive Data Model with relationships, use LOOKUP functions in Power Query Editor for data retrieval, and employ DAX expressions for additional data manipulation and calculations.
  • You will also optimize the model’s performance to enhance efficiency and responsiveness

  • You will create reports with a variety of elements like standard and custom visuals, slicers, conditional formatting, and other page components such as images, shapes, text boxes, and buttons.
  • You will also refine reports with features like sort orders, drill-down controls, interactions between visuals, bookmarks, tooltips, and considerations for designing reports for mobile viewing. You will finally explore advanced analysis techniques including outlier identification, categorization, grouping, binning, clustering, and the use of AI-driven visualization.

  • You will learn how to deploy and maintain assets, manage files and datasets, publish and update reports on the service, create and edit dashboards, stream data, and manage workspaces within the service environment.
  • These activities encompass the lifecycle of data management and visualization to improve resource allocation to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
